Special Thanks to Sue Caillier. Sue took wonderful care in writing the article on the Miniature Pinscher Breed, for the October 2008 issue of the Canine Review. To those who brought out their special Miniature Pinscher's, to strut their stuff and demonstrate how it is done. What would an article be without photos.

Thank You to James MacKay for all his great work, in designing the CMPC web site. James worked extremely hard and put in many hours designing the web site. The CMPC web site was completed December 2008.

Thank You......Myles

The CMPC pledged a donation of $150.00 to the "Dog Legislation Council--Banned Aid Coalition". The Coalition was in need of raising an extra $67,000.00 to take their fight to the Supreme Court.

The site can be found here www.doglegislationcouncilcanada.org

Twyla Taylor was the original designer/web master of the CMPC web site in 2001. Twyla manged the web site off and on until retiring from breeding Miniature Pinschers' in 2006.

FROM FLORENCE OUTHOUSE -
APPLEA KENNEL NOVA SCOTIA

This year I focused mostly on performance events and trained hard with John MacKinley of the PawPlex in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia (Agility) and Carolyn Dockrill of Mount Uniacke, Nova Scotia (Obedience). We also worked on tracking with the Nova Scotia German Shephered Dog Club, but I have a problem finding enough hours in a day to give tracking the amount of work required. To date we have accomplished the following:

Ch Applea Funny Girl, PCD, CGC (Jill) has completed her Level 1 Standard, Fun Games and Handler titles in CPE Agility and has 2 qualifing scores towards her Starters title and one qualifying score towards her Starters Games Title in AAC Agility and 1 qualifying score towards her Novice title in CKC Agility.

Ch Ramaja Autumn Colours, CD, CGC, TT (Robin) is working on Level 2 in CPE Agility and has earned two qualifying scores towards her Level 2 Standard and Fun Games Titles and has 1 qualifying score towards her Advanced AAC Agility title.

Ch CoBo's Redy N Able At Applea (Able) has earned his Canine Good Neighbour, his Pre-Companion Dog and one leg on his Companion Dog.

Madeline Fraser of Greenwood, Nova Scotia has also been working with Carolyn Dockrill of Mount Uniake, Nova Scotia and has earned the following:

Applea's Cosmic Flare (Magda) has earned her Canine Good Neighbour, Pre-Companion Dog and one leg on her Companion Dog.

Attached are some pictures of Jill and Robin competing in agility should you wish to use any of them. Robin is the red and she is currently 12 yrs old, Jill is the black & rust and she is one of Robin's daughters. The photos are by Chris Gallant Photography.
